When a customer adds a product to the cart and proceeds to pay he reaches the payment gateway where he has to enter his card/net banking details. 


He may not complete the purchase due to reasons like

 - He changes his mind about the product.

 - Decides not to go ahead with the payment.

 - The internet connection gets disrupted.

 - His card/net banking credentials don't work,

and much more. 

 

In such a case the order and contact details will get automatically updated in the ‘abandoned’ section. 


You and your customers will also receive a email saying that there were few items left in the Cart.


You can make use of this information to get in touch with the client and convince them to complete the purchase.
