What is an Incomplete Order
1. When a customer abandons an order on payment gateway page where he is suppose to enter payment details.
2. The Order was complete, but he could not be redirected back to your site due to either
- Payment Gateway issue.
- Customer closes the browser before he is redirected back to the site.
- Internet Connectivity Issue.
- Customer Card details are incorrect.
What to do next
1. If the customer has actually abandoned the order - you can write back to him and ask him the reason for the same.
2. If the money is being shown as received in your payment gateway dashboard - you can mark it as received.
In this case, you will also receive an email from Payment Gateway confirming the payment.
Once you move the order to received, an automatic Email will go the customer confirming the order as well.
